Dreaming of Water, Flying, and Doors
Three common dream symbols and how to interpret them with context.
Water often reflects emotion, but the form of water changes the reading. Clear water may suggest calm awareness. Flooding may suggest overwhelm. Deep water may point toward the unconscious or something you are not ready to name.
Flying often relates to freedom, control, or escape. A joyful flight feels different from floating upward without control. Notice whether you chose to fly, struggled to stay in the air, or feared falling.
Doors often appear around transition. A locked door may suggest privacy, exclusion, or hesitation. An open door may suggest invitation. A door you cannot find again may point to a missed chance or a changing identity.
The symbol is only the beginning. Ask what happened around it, what emotion it carried, and whether it appears in other dreams.
